TV ShowsCarmine's, the all new behind the scenes cooking show, airs on Fox23 each weekday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. immediately following the morning news. The show is then rebroadcast each weekday evening from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Time Warner Cable digital channel 423. Carmine invites the public to make a reservation for lunch or dinner to be a part of the process of creating his show episodes. If you would like to be present for filming, keep checking the website for a filming schedule, or contact the restaurant directly for more information. Each episode takes place at Carmine's Restaurant in Albany, NY during hours of service and beyond. It is filmed in the studio kitchen and throughout the restaurant, and features a glimpse behind the scenes of a successful restaurant. The new show will also feature special guests, on-going issues and themes, and the personalities of Carmine Spiro and his core group of characters. "The new show is a totally different kind of cooking show," says Carmine. "So you'll be able to see the daily problems and issues we face in running the restaurant. You'll see the kinds of things that make us human." "It's not just a cooking show," he says, "It's also a behind the scenes look at a day in the life of "Carmine's Restaurant". and all of the other projects that I'm trying to tackle". Some of the other projects; working the kitchen line, running the business, charity events, looking for new locations, overseeing the San Antonio operation, and a lot more. For the new show, Carmine wanted a more creative dynamic to include the many aspects of restaurant operations, along with the people who work to make Carmine's a success. "When you have a cooking show, some people might get the impression that the restaurant is too expensive, or too fancy, or that I'm some big star with a big ego, simply because I'm on television," said Carmine. "I think some people have an idea of what it means to be a so-called ‘celebrity chef' and try to fit me into that mold. The reality is that I'm a chef and restaurant owner first, and that's what this show is about." "I want the image of being a chef and the owner of a restaurant where a television crew just happens to come in and film," said Carmine. "I want to share the airtime with other characters to create something real so viewers can understand that we're running a business and we're trying our best."
